Access & Delivery Policy

CPI delivers research, memberships, training and events digitally and in person. We do not ship physical goods. This page explains how each product type is delivered, when to expect access, and what to do if something goes wrong.
Reports & one-off downloads
- Instant access. The moment payment is confirmed by TransactPay (typically within 60 seconds), the report becomes available in your account dashboard under My orders → Library.
- You will also receive an order-confirmation email with a direct download link; links remain valid for 30 days but the report stays in your library indefinitely.
- Reports are delivered as DRM-free PDFs. Where datasets are included, they ship as XLSX or CSV alongside the PDF.
Market intelligence subscriptions
- Access is granted on the petroinfong.org subscriber portal as soon as your first payment clears. Daily and weekly briefings are emailed to your account address each working day before 07:00 WAT.
- Renewal reminders are sent 14 and 3 days before each renewal date so you can cancel from the dashboard if needed.
CPI membership
- Member benefits — gated reports, the members’ events calendar, discounted training, and the directory — are unlocked within minutes of payment confirmation.
- A welcome pack is emailed within one business day with your member ID, the code of conduct, and how to register for upcoming members’ sessions.
- Membership cards (digital) are issued on enrolment; physical cards may be requested for collection at our Ikeja office during office hours (Mon–Fri, 09:00–17:00 WAT).
Training & certification
- On enrolment you receive a confirmation email containing the cohort schedule, joining link or venue address, pre-reading and any technical requirements.
- Online cohorts are delivered via Zoom or Microsoft Teams on a stable broadband connection of at least 5 Mbps; sessions are recorded and shared with enrolled participants for 30 days post-cohort.
- In-person cohorts run at our Ikeja training rooms or a partner venue. Check-in opens 30 minutes before the published start time. A government-issued ID is required at registration.
- Certificates of completion are issued (digitally) within 5 business days of the final session, subject to attendance and any assessment requirements.

Events & conferences
- Tickets are emailed as e-passes with a QR code. Bring a printed or on-screen copy plus a government-issued ID.
- Doors typically open 60 minutes before the published programme start. Refer to your e-pass for the exact venue, check-in window and dress code.
- Tickets are transferable to a colleague at no cost up to 24 hours before the event — write to info@petroinfong.org with the new attendee’s details.

Technical requirements
For the best experience accessing digital products and live online sessions:
- A modern browser (latest Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari).
- Cookies and JavaScript enabled for petroinfong.org.
- A PDF reader for reports (Adobe Acrobat Reader, Apple Preview or equivalent).
- Spreadsheet software (Excel, Numbers, Google Sheets) for data appendices.
- Stable broadband (≥ 5 Mbps) for live training and webinars.
Issues with delivery or access
If a report doesn’t appear in your library, a download link has expired, or you cannot access a member benefit, please contact us — we resolve almost all access issues within one business day.
No physical shipping
CPI does not ship physical goods. Where physical artefacts (printed reports, membership cards, conference materials) are offered, they are made available for collection at our Ikeja office during office hours; we do not currently operate a courier dispatch service.
